Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model on learning outcomes in grade VIII students on the excretory system. The research method was quantitative with a Quasi-Experimental approach, using a question pretest-posttest design with a random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through a multiple-choice test with a total of 20 questions. This study involved grade VIII students at MTs Al Ikhwan Serapuh ABC. The data were processed using SPSS 25. The results of the normality test showed data originating from a normal distribution. This homogeneity test showed that the data were homogeneous. The Paired Sample T-Test showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, indicating a significance score <0.05, thus rejecting Ho and accepting Ha. Therefore, it can be concluded that the jigsaw cooperative learning model has a significant impact on eighth-grade students' learning outcomes in the excretory system at MTs Al Ikhwan Serapuh ABC.
