PENGEMBANGAN BUKU CERITA BERGAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN RESILIENSI BELAJAR BAHASA INDONESIA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of picture storybooks. This type of research is research and development (R&D). This research uses the 4D development model. Thiagarajan 4D model includes four stages namely define, design, develop and disseminate. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 050656 Stabat. The subject of the research was grade V students totaling 20 consisting of 8 male students and 12 female students. The object of the research is picture storybooks. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, test, and questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used were (a) the feasibility of picture storybooks, and (b) the effectiveness of picture storybooks. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the results of validation by material with a percentage of 75.00% are categorized as feasible, the results of language validation with a percentage of 89.00% are categorized as very feasible, and the results of media validation with a percentage of 93.45% are categorized as very feasible and the results of the N-Gain average value of 0.65 which is classified in the medium to high category. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that the picture storybook developed is feasible and effective for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 050656 Stabat.
