PERBAIKAN PEMBELAJARAN DENGAN METODE BLENDED LEARNING MENGGINAKAN APLIKASI VIDEO CONFERENCE ZOOM MEETING DAN WHATSAPP

Abstract

This reinforcement aims to provide improvements to teachers in delivering experimental material about the process of rain by using a different approach by using the Zoom Meeting and Whatsapp Group Video Conference Applications for 5th grade science subjects at MIN 15 Medan. The methodology used is Classroom Action Research through cycles with each activity having planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of these activities indicate that Cycle I activities can be used by teachers in delivering learning materials in which there are practical activities to be more effective and efficient during distance learning. In the second cycle there was an increase in learning activity because the teacher and students gave learning conclusions. The use of the blended learning method with the zoom application and whatsapp group can be used to maximize distance learning because it is quite effective and can optimize the online learning process. While the weakness of using this application as for the limitations in using this method is network constraints. students are also easily bored because the activities carried out cannot balance the effectiveness when studying in class
