PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI POKOK KESEIMBANGAN LINGKUNGAN DI SMA NEGERI 1 STABAT
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the use of discovery learning learning strategies on student learning outcomes on the subject of environmental balance in SMA Negeri 1 Stabat. The population in this study was the entire number of class X students of SMAN 1 Stabat, which consisted of 4 classes with 151 students. The research method used in this research is a quasi-experimental type of research. This research was designed or designed by conducting pre-test and post-test, learning treatment using discovery learning strategies. The results showed that there were differences in the mean scores of the pre-test and post-test. from the pre-test data, the average value = 57.4 with the standard deviation (SD) of the pre-test 8.83. Meanwhile, from the post-test, the average value of x = 76.4 with the standard deviation (SD) of the post-test was 9.44. From the calculation results obtained tcount 18.07 and ttable 1.69 thus, tcount > ttable that is 18.07 > 1.69. So that it is stated that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that there is a significant effect of student learning outcomes using the Discovery Learning Learning Strategy on Student Learning Outcomes on the Main Material of Environmental Balance at SMAN 1 Stabat.
