Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the ability and knowledge of teachers in implementing information technology-based learning media, the constraints and efforts made by teachers in applying these media. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The research instrument is in the form of a digital questionnaire and data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire. The participants of this study were teachers at SD/MI in Langkat Regency. With the number of respondents in general, namely around 65 teachers. Sampling using random sampling technique. The components of interactive model data analysis according to Miles and Huberman include data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study illustrate that teachers have been able to apply information technology-based learning media. Teachers are skilled in utilizing technological means and developing material into interesting information technology-based media products, and easy to apply in learning. The conclusion of this study is that the teacher's ability to utilize information technology-based learning media is quite good. However, a lot of guidance is still needed in finding media and learning resources from the internet. It is recommended for schools to further improve the provision of guidance regarding information technology through training/workshops, seminars, even workshops, so that some of the obstacles in using ICT as learning media can be overcome.
