FUNGSI PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGARAAN DALAM MENANAMKAN KONSEP MULTIKULTURALISME

Abstract

Citizenship education (PKn) is an important part of learning in schools, both formal and informal. Multiculturalism is still very relevant to be discussed along with the Reformation Era that is currently rolling in Indonesia. while the conditions in the midst of a multicultural society that occur inside are composed of various forms of life and different and diverse value orientations sometimes giving rise to conflicts, either religious conflicts or cultural conflicts. This research uses the literature study method. Literature study also means data collection techniques by reviewing books, literature, notes, and various reports related to the problem to be solved. planting the concept of multiculturalism values. The cultivation of multiculturalism can be done by selecting the material taught should be culturally valuable, the media selected using examples of media related to diversity related to multicultural issues.
