PERAN GURU DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN SISWA DENGAN MODEL CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) MUATAN PELAJARAN PKN DISEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

The implementation of education will not be separated from the existence of formal education, namely schools. School is a place to get knowledge under the guidance of teachers or educators. The main problem in learning Citizenship Education is the role and proper way of teachers in increasing student activity during the delivery of Citizenship Education subject matter. In the process of implementing Civic Education teaching and learning activities it still seems very rigid, less flexible, less democratic, and teachers are more dominant than students. The problems experienced by each learning are very complex. For this reason, the author is interested in researching the role and ways that teachers do in Civics learning. the method used in this research is descriptive method. qualitative descriptive research. The researcher uses a technique that is Non Probability Sampling (Purposive Sampling), the data collection instruments used are questionnaires and interviews. The results obtained in this study include (1) The role of the teacher as a teacher includes the role of the teacher as a facilitator and mediator. While the role of the teacher as an educator acts as a motivator and director. (2) In the learning process, the teacher uses the Contextual Teaching Learning model
