Abstract

Citizenship Education has a very important role and function in instilling the values of Pancasila ideology in which there are basic humane and personality values which of course become the basis for the concept of global citizenship, this is of course as stated in the objectives of Citizenship Education. In theory, this study aims to analyze and find out the extent to which the role of Citizenship Education subjects in the implementation of Pancasila values in elementary school children. This research is a qualitative research. The data collection technique uses documentation, articles, journals, books, news and official statements of the organization. Data analysis using triangulation. The conclusion of this study states that civic education has an important role for elementary school children in instilling Pancasila values to be applied to the learning process.
